Vision
"There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore, I command you to be generous towards your brothers and towards the poor and needy in your land.” (Deuteronomy 11:15)
The vision of Saint John Charitable Association is based on the Christian values of preserving human dignity and giving priority to the poor. Therefore, every human being has rights and responsibilities that cannot be taken away for any social or human reason. Once this fact is fully recognized, it is easy to act in the interest of the common good of society as a whole. Society will then be stronger because the weakness of one of its members necessarily hurts the whole of society.
Marginalized and impoverished communities face a range of challenges that limit their opportunities and quality of life. These communities are often overlooked and underserved, and they require support from individuals and organizations who are committed to promoting social justice and equality.
Supporting these communities is essential for promoting social justice and equality. By investing in these communities, we can help to level the playing field and provide opportunities for disadvantaged individuals. Moreover, investing in these communities can have long-term positive effects on society as a whole. When marginalized and impoverished communities thrive, everyone benefits.
St. John has many ways to support marginalized and poor communities. One way is to provide access to education and job training programs. These programs can help individuals develop the skills they need to succeed in the workforce and improve their economic prospects. These initiatives can help to create safe and stable living environments for individuals and families who might otherwise be homeless or living in substandard conditions.
